Zoo and Castle Hoyerswerda
The Hoyerswerda Zoo and the nearby castle are great destinations for a day trip. The castle has numerous exhibition rooms that convey the city and regional history of Hoyerswerda and the history of the castle to visitors. A bridge at the back of the castle leads to the zoo.
